Consideration of Health Center
MSH in NH is considering becoming affiliated with the Womans Health Center. By doing so, this would make medical services more readily available to those of us that need attention at one time or another, without having to pay the high cost of going to a clinic. Well will keep you all up to date wth this.
Importance of Seat Belts
Within one week of each other, two woman experienced the importance of seat belts. One was wearing her set belt and the other wasn’t.
Driving home in Vermont, "Leapin" came face to face with a large moose. Fortunently Leapin was wearing her seat belts when she collided with the moose. Because of the seat belts she sustain only minor injuries even tho her car was totaled. The seat belts prevented her from hitting the windshield, steering wheel and from receiving serious injuries.
As like Leapin, Bestwolf, founder of MSH was also driving home from Boston . While stopped at a red light she was reared and then pushed into oncoming traffic in which she was hit head on. When she came to, the emt was in the car treating her for her injuries. Even tho her injuries were not life threatning, she is now asking herself why she wasn’t wearing her seat belt. Noone knows for sure weather having her seat belt on would have prevented some of the injuries she sustained, however it is very likely it could have.
We have all heard the pro’s and con’s of wearing a seat belt. Some of us have had or have known someone who has had a bad experience with seat belts. The pro’s by far out way the con’s tremendously. Even with most states in the USA having a seat belt law, some of us choose not to wear them. Even I am guilty of this at times. If you are also one of these people please consider wearing your seat belt all the time. Remember there is someone you know who loves you and wants you to come home.
Bestwolf is recovering at home from injuries she sustain in the accident and is expected to return to work as soon as she can. We all wish her a fast and speedy recovery and we send our thoughts and prayers. Get well soon Bestwolf.
Leapin has recovered from her injuries that she substain in her accident and we also wish her the best.
