The sun.. rose and set...
In a haze of grief and pain...
Knowing.. his match, he had not met.
Seeing.. his tears fall as the pouring rain.
Once again I was there to console...
Never losing confidence that he would make it thru...
Wishing.. in my arms, I could hold.
This WhiteKnightCowboy, who was so sad and blue.
Giving.. him advice, and a shoulder for which to cry...
As I often did, and always would...
Showing.. him that life is a chance, and we have to try.
To accomplish our goals, as I knew he could.
I fell in love with this man, so honest and true...
He captured my heart, my thoughts, my soul...
Loving me unconditionally, through and through.
He amazed me with his compassion for life...
So brave, and yet so afraid...
Although you could see his pain and strife...
He also showed love, strength, and honor.
The scared little boy, was then a man...
Who then became my Knight in shining armour...
The man you see now, that lives to love...
Walks with me.. hand in hand...
Showered are we from the heaven's above.
