SCRA 1998 Awards Summary…
McCray - Rollerman of 1998!
Kevin McCray of Harbor City has been selected the SCRA Rollerman of the Year! McCray's 1998
accomplishments included qualifying for both the World Cup and NBRC Fall Fly Finals, placing two birds in the top twenty of the California Classic and winning both the ICRC and OLRC Club Kit Competitions.
The selection process included the following factors:
A) Placement in the World Cup
B) Placement in the NBRC Fall Fly
C) Finish in local Club Kit Competitions
D) Finish in California Classic
E) Additional Flying Competitions

McCray beat out several fanciers who had great years. Honorable mentions must go out to Jerry Higgins who finished 7th in the World Cup Final Standings, Bob Southall who finished 12th in the World Cup,

World Cup
Finals qualifiers Tim Decker and Roy Trehern, and NBRC Fall Fly qualifiers Milton Rudd and J.J. (MVHRC).
McCray's strong placement in both the World Cup and NBRC Fall Fly were attained during a season in which he also won his third consecutive ICRC title and his second OLRC title! His two birds that finished in the Top Twenty of the California Classic just added to an all around great year.
