Photo on right -- Left to right: great-aunt Inez, grand Benjamin Franklin Hallford, and my great-grandmother Mary Evalyne. Grandpa Hallford homesteaded land in eastern Oregon, and grew grapes for jelly.

Grandpa Hallford ran the ferry over the Snake River for a neighbor, Dave Hood, during the summer of 1930.
