Wind & Fire M/C Members 2017

Subject: Wearing of W&F MC Colors’

“Click here for examples of patch locations”

All Members (full member, associate member and honorary member) of Wind & Fire Motorcycle Club will wear our Club Colors’.

Before you or your chapter start wearing W&F MC colors’ take a minute and think !

Have you taken the time to talk with the other bikers and / or clubs in your area? Do they know about our Club and understand what Wind & Fire MC Inc. is all about? Have you taken the time to explain what colors’ you are going to be wearing and what they mean? Remember that wearing club colors’ can be a very serious issue when dealing with some clubs. The time spent now will be time well spent. Do it before a problem arises.

Now is the time to ask questions if you have them, contact our Sgt at Arms or the Club President.

Vest or Jacket:

Examples of some bottom-rockers if you belong to a chapter are: Big Bear Chapter; Rocky Mt. Chapter; (contact your chapter director)  Examples can be seen here http://webmaster.wfmc.free.fr/couleurs1.htm

If you are NOT a member of a chapter and you are a full member you should wear the bottom rocker “Firefighter”  If you are an associate member you should wear a bottom rocker with the wording; “Firefighter / Associate”

The above are only suggestions, what is important is that whatever your chapter decides to do, keep it the same for all of your chapter members.

Wearing of small patches and pins:

Care/Protection/use of Colors’:

This means don't leave your vest on the back of a chair and walk off, or on your bike and walk off.  If the vest is not on you, it should be out of sight and secured.  NEVER EVER ON THE GROUND OR INSIDE OUT.

Security:

Do not loan or give your colors’ to any non-member for any reason; do not leave your W&F MC Club colors’ lying around. People have been known to steal colors’ for souvenirs. Example: If someone wearing our Club colors’ committed a crime the WFMC patch would be all that is noticed. This "colors’ theft" scenario is not just possible it does happen.

Authorized WFMC Patches:

Wind & Fire MC primary patch colors’ are: light blue (field), red & black (double border). All patches done in Wind & Fire MC Club primary colors’ must be obtained from the National (Wind & Fire MC, PO Box 8633 Bodfish, CA 93205). This protocol insures standardization, quality, and helps avoid conflicts.

Conflicting Rocker Wording & Rocker Replacement:

It is the policy of W&F MC to help members enjoy belonging to W&F MC. If after obtaining a chapter rocker a regional wording conflict ensues, the Club will replace the rocker at no charge with an acceptably worded rocker. The original rocker MUST  be returned to the Inter National (PO Box 8633 Bodfish, CA 93205). A phone call may provide answers to your questions and help us when it comes to replacing a "rocker". For rocker wording approval call 209-769-7408 (cell phone)

"MC" Concerns / Replacement

Once in a while there may be a concern raised over the letters "MC" on our colors.  If there is no other way to solve this issue other than removing the MC from our Colors the following may be done.   The Club will provide you with a "small" patch with the wording "Group" on it.  This patch is in our club color’s and is approved to be placed over the MC if needed.   Also there is a small patch in our Club color’s "911-343" which can be used to cover the MC.  To request approval to cover the “MC” contact the club President

NO other patches will be sewn on our colors’ to cover the MC.   The use of these patches must be requested through our Club President or our Club Sgt at Arms.

¨ The above information is provided as a guideline. We ask that you wear our W&F MC
Colors with pride and respect
