Peter Reckell...the man behind Bo Brady. And I do mean the ONLY man behind Bo Brady. Peter is
irreplaceable. His chemistry with Kristian Alfonso will never go unrecognized. Without him, DAYS
would be empty. He's a shining star, as Bo and as himself. Kristian Alfonso thinks so too.
This is what she said to Soap Opera Magazine:
Peter Reckell is my man of the soaps. He is my favorite actor, by far. Peter Reckell was born May 7th, 1955, in Elkhart, Indiana. Peter has been acting since high school, but has been involved in theatre since junior high. Peter attended the prestigious Boston Conservatory, where he received his bachelor of fine arts on theatre, with a minor in music and dance.
Peter Reckell joined the Days Of Our Lives cast in 1983, as Bo Aurelius Brady. His was with the show from '83 to 1987. He later returned from 1990-1991. He left again, but came back to us in 1995, and he's still here today (and better remain FOREVER!!)
Peter is currently living in Los Angeles, where he is close to the Days' set. He lives with his wife, Kelly Moneymaker, who is a singer. Peter is an amazing man, who cares about the environment. He rides his bike to work and has a solar powered car. He believes in taking good care of your body, which he calls your "temple". He enjoys swimming, yoga, martial arts, mountian biking, horseback riding, and basically working out. He even co-owns a gym in La Jolla, California, that specializes in in message, spinning, and yoga.
