Chapter 7

"What?" AJ said, looking at the doctor. "What did you just say?"
"I said, maybe you are right." The doctor replied. "Maybe I was the guy at your house last night that told you I was your worst nightmare; maybe I was the guy that hung poor Mr. Smith by his Christmas lights...and maybe, just maybe, I was the one that cut the power and made your whole house dark."
"I....can't believe this." Nick said, wanting to jump out a window.
"Believe it...what's the word everybody is using now a days? Oh, yes! I remember. Dude." The doctor said, looking at each and every one of them.
"You can't get away with this! This is a hospital, and I'm sure that someone can hear us." Brian said, thinking with his head.
"What makes you think this is a real hospital?" The doctor asked, looking at Brian with an 'I got you!' look.
"What? This isn't a real hospital? But, there were nurses and..." Heather said.
"Have you ever heard of 'team work'?" The doctor asked, smiling from ear to ear.
"You are one sick guy." AJ said, looking at the doctor. "Bringing us to your little hide-out..."
"There's still a way that he won't get away with this. Hello! Guys! We have to be recording another album soon!" Kevin said, throwing his hands everywhere.
"You have a point my man." Howie said, looking at Kevin. "He won't get away with this.
"Maybe I won't get away with it, but, that doesn't mean I can't kill you while I'm trying." The doctor said, pulling out a knife.
"Come on, people! What the heck are we doing with knives?" Nick said, wanting him to lower the knife.
"Duh! I'm going to use it to kill you! What do you think I'm going to do with it?" The doctor asked with an 'Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!' look on his face. "I'm going to...kill you with it."
"Funny. It's so darn funny I forgot to laugh." Heather said, getting the nerve and strength to talk.
"Excuse me? Are you calling me unfunny?" The doctor asked, getting a hard, cold, wrinkled face on.
"Who are you anyways?" Kevin asked.
"Ask him." The doctor said, pointing at AJ.
"Who? You never told me." AJ said.
"Sure I did. Your worst nightmare." The doctor said, suddenly, once again, the lights went out.
