"What the hell was that?" I yelled at myself in frustration. "That was NOT supposed to happen!"
I laid on my bed, and covered my eyes.
"He must think I'm a psychopath!" Just then there was a knock on my bedroom door. I called whoever it was in. Of course, with my luck it was Howie. I put on a smile.
"Hey Howie." I said cheerfully, he smiled at me and my heart almost pounded out of my chest.
"Hey." He said and walked in. "I was wondering if you were ok."
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"You sure?"
"Yeah." I laid on my bed and closed my eyes. I felt him lay down next to me. "God why is he doing this? He acts so perfect and I keep falling deeper and deeper. But all I'm going to do is fall into another fantasy life that will never happen." I thought and looked at him. He looked at me with concern.
"Are you sure your ok?" He asked again. I just nodded. He didn't get to ask anymore before his mom called us down for dinner. He sighed and we both got up. Before we left the room he turned me to face him.
"I know we haven't talked, and we haven't really seen each other but I am a good listener. And if some-things wrong….I'll be there if you need someone." He said softly, I couldn't help but let a tear drop fall. He reached out to wipe it away but I ran out the room. He just watched.
"Why can't she see I like her?" He whispered and walked downstairs.
