Kat heard someone knock on the door and she tensed up.
"It's ok Kat, I'm sure it's nothing." Kat walked down the stairs and there was Brian.
"What are you doing here?" Kat asked
"I came to see you." Brian said
"Brian, leave, please." A tear fell from Kat's eye, "It's better this way." Brian walked in the house and stood in front of Kat.
"No it's not. I did a lot of thinking, and I was stupid. I believed a woman I hardly knew, more then I believed a woman who I knew all my life. Also the woman that I'm in…" Brian didn't know how to say it. "Also the women I'm falling in love with." Kat's eyes grew wide.
"No, you can't." She whispered and backed away, "You can't love me. I finally was able to push my feelings away where no one could find them. I can't make you happy Brian. I never will be able to. I don't deserve you. So please, don't say that." Kat was backed against the wall. Brian came towards her and just held her. Kat tried to pull away but finally Kat caved in and cried in Brian's arms.
"Ssshh, Kat you're the only person that can make me happy, I don't deserve you Kat, I think no one does, but I'm hoping you still feel the same way that I feel for you." Brian stroked Kat's hair, "I'm so sorry, I was so stupid, it took me so long to realize what I felt. But Kat, when you said you were in love, I thought it was someone else. That's why I was with Charise all the time. But every moment I spent with her, I wished it was you." Kat looked up at him. "Please forgive me, I can't live without you."
He stroked the side of her cheek with his hand and softly kissed her. When he pulled away he saw Kat smiling. He smiled and kissed her again.
"Be mine?" Brian asked.
"Always." Kat said and kissed him again.
