Good morning,
Thanks so much for your reply.
Yes, you may post my letter on your site and you may also leave the email on
as I enjoy hearing from Dads fans and corresponding with them.
It would be wonderful if you were able to see his new show this season.
He has created a two hour one man show which takes the audience through his
life and music, triumphs and tragedies.
The stage is set as an old attic with his memoribilia all around him.
He is using the original epiphone guitar and fender tube amplifier that he
used on all of his classic recordings and he reminisces about his friends,
Buddy Holly, Elvis, Johnny Cash and all the experiences that they shared
together.
The Grand Ole Opry walk of fame is honoring Dad at the Opryland park in
Nashville by inclusion in their museum of stars which is outside the Opry
House at the Tower Records store this summer. There will be some personal
items and letters on display for the music fans to see and Dad will attend
the event and be on hand for a few days to sign autographs and meet the fans.
It should be fun.
He is in "perfect " health has just received his black belt in Aikido, runs
10 miles three times a week and is the father of a ten year old little girl.
Not bad for 65
Thank you again for your interest and appreciation.
I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Best Regards,
Michael Rodgers
