BEYOND TECHNICAL COMPETENCE
This is a course
on how to be highly effective when working with US
companies.
International
employees who now work or are going to work in the
United States can be thrown off course by the unwritten
expectations and customs of the US workplace. The
results can be diminished productivity and confusion. In
this results-oriented course, participants will be given
practical strategies and material which will allow them
to adapt to the American work and living culture. The
program will be tailored to the specific
target-audience.

Methodology
Our
training is participatory and interactive using a
variety of methods such as case studies, group
discussions, role-play, situational simulation,and task
oriented activities. This is complemented by short
inputs and exercises. The theoretical frameworks broaden
the scope of the participants' learning, offering
opportunities to analyse the
different characteristic cultural behaviors.
You will be able to:
- Participate
more effectively in meetings and on diverse teams in the
US.
- Pro-actively clarify
expectations and miscomunication.
- Work more effectively with
the expectations and customs of your supervisor and team
mates.
- Increase yourr communication
skills, especially in American English.
