All About Me!

That's one of the few "normal" pics you'll see of me in this web site!

Well, I grew up in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. After high school, I moved to Calgary to take the Broadcasting course at Mount Royal College. After I graduated from that I moved back to Red Deer to work at RDTV where I was first a Master Control Operator, then a Studio Camera Operator, and then the Studio Manager. I worked on all of the shows that RDTV produces, including "The Movie Show".

After RDTV, I moved to Calgary again to work as the Floor Director and Music Coordinator for a program called The Big Breakfast at the A-Channel. I did that job for almost a year and a half as well.

I really liked working in broadcasting, and may get back into it, but my true love is performing. My most recent professional performing job was with Jubilations Dinner Theatre as an actor/dancing/singer. More information on that, and what I've done since as an actor is available at www.joshrimer.com.

Another passion of mine is travelling.

I have been through parts of Canada, parts of the U.S.A.,
visited over 10 European countries, around Malaysia and now...

I just got back from living in Australia for almost a year with a Working Holiday Visa.
This picture was taken in March 2000 at the Mardi Gras party in Sydney. It was taken at 7am so most of the body glitter had already worn off unfortunately.
Also, my socks, which you can't see, matched my shorts.

There's a lot more info on Australia if you go back to my homepage
and click on the globe where it says "My Year Overseas"
