This board meeting is for the October show committees, all committee heads should plan to attend.

The club library will become operational in September. You can check out library materials at one monthly meeting and we ask that you return it at the next monthly meeting. We would like to thank Pat Hines and Linda Soliven for volunteering to be the librarians. The library could use some more books. If you have any books at home that you would like to donate to the club, please bring them to class and give them to one of the librarians.

There is a sale of bonsai trees in Sebastopol on Saturday, August 5 ^th from 9am to 5pm at the home of Frank Bordella (707)-823-8385.

Sharon Courtney of Alamo has donated miscellaneous bonsai related items to the club. The items will be brought to the September 11^th meeting for the members to take what they want at no cost.

The board of directors discussed a field trip to a high elevation location in the July meeting. It was decided to schedule the field trip for the 3^rd weekend of September, five to six cars and a one day trip. If anyone has any suggestions of where would be a good place to go, contact any of the board members.
