August Meetings:

August 5  -  Basic and Intermediate Joint Class Show 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm – Every member should bring their best bonsai tree for this show. If your tree is not in a bonsai pot, select a pot or two for Sensei's review and advice. Sensei Akabane will review and critique the trees.

      Refreshments - All members finger food or dessert

August 6 - Board Meeting CalFed Bank, San Ramon.

  After the meeting help clean up and put away the tables and chairs.

Wear your name tags to class every month to make it easier for everyone to meet each other.

If you need a name tag, call Scott Couture at (925) 735-3535 to order one.  The cost is $2.00.

August 24-25, Santa Rosa.  Redwood Empire Bonsai Society 1th Annual Bonsai Show at Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building, 1351 Maple Avenue, Santa Rosa. Saturday 10am to 5m, Sunday 10am to 4pm. Demonstrations at 1:30pm Saturday by Kathy Shaner, Sunday by Ted Matson.

September 9 - Basic Class, Discuss results of Summer care.

September 16 - Intermediate Class, Preparation for Winter. Controlling after Summer new growth.
