From the President
Our Spring Show is now four weeks away. If they haven’t yet found you, our Committee Chairpersons will soon hunt you down and ask for your help before, during and after the show. Please be prepared to volunteer for more than one duty. There’s a lot of work to be done, and a limited number of people to do it.
There are now only two chances left to have your trees approved or priced for the show. There is a potting session on Saturday, March 3rd, 9:00AM at the Tassajara Nursery, and then the regular Club meeting on March 21st. K needs to look at both your display and donation trees, and then Don Meeker (display) or Jim Stalker (sales) will get them on their show lists. Please help us out by having your trees accounted for before the show.
Show Trees and Sale Donation Trees
All trees to be displayed at the show should be previewed by our Sensei 'K' before the show, at the March Club meeting.
All trees donated for sale at the show must be priced by 'K' prior to the show set up. This must be done at or before the March 21st Club Meeting.
As of this writing only about half of the Club Members have had their sale trees priced.
Ed. Notes: Lois Naye, the Club Historian is looking for pictures from our 2001 and 2005 Shows. If you have pictures from those shows please talk with Lois.
Sensei 'K' would like us to capture and publish notes from the Club Meetings and workshops. If any member takes notes and will get them to Don Meeker, he'll summarize and publish them in the monthly newsletter.
