Meetings
There are no regular Wednesday meetings in August.
Saturday, August 11th - 9:00am. Workshop. Tassajara Nursery. See the "Notes" section for details.
Notes
Workshop: Saturday August 11th: Due to popular demand, we will hold another club workshop on August 11 at 9:00am at the Tassajara Nursery (Come out before the day gets hot!). The format will be the same as our Winter potting sessions (though with no repotting, of course). Bring any of your trees to work on, and receive advice from the Sensei and other members. This would be a great chance to develop your donation trees for the Spring Show! If you will attend, let me know (Steve Huskins: (925) 937-4216, shuskins@sonic.net).
Spring Show 2008 - April 4-6: It may seem like we just tore down the backdrops and tables at our 2007 show, but the planning for 2008 has already begun! There are two areas you, as a member, should now consider:
Field Trip to Members' Collections: We would like to arrange a visit to 2 or 3 members' homes to view their bonsai collections one Saturday in September. If you might be interested in hosting a visit, please let me know (Steve Huskins: (925) 937-4216, shuskins@sonic.net).
