Notes
Upcoming Changes - Thank you to all the members who attended or sent in ideas for our 'brainstorming' meeting last month. 'K' and the board have gone through the suggestions and have come up with a few ideas that we can implement, either right away, or over the course of the next few months:
Workshop: We'd like the workshop part of our meetings to me more of a learning opportunity for the whole club. So that the sensei can devote enough time to each item, please bring only one or two trees for the workshop. If you bring two, please be sure that one of them is related to the lecture topic (raft style, this month).
New Members - We are setting up a 'New Members' Orientation' program, to get newcomers to bonsai joining our club "up and running". Jim Stalker has volunteered to head up this project.
Publicity Chairperson - We believe that we need someone (or maybe two people) to coordinate our efforts to attract new members. Please consider if this is a way you can help out the club.
