Bonsai Pot Field Trip - Kathy Souther found an interesting source for bonsai pottery, Royala Pacific Arts & Crafts. They have some nice pots at quite reasonable prices; check out their website at www.royolapac.com. If there is enough interest, we will organize a group visit to their location in Hayward. Let Kathy or I know if you are interested in a field trip during the next month or two.

39th Annual Bonsai Exhibit at the San Jose Betsuin Buddhist Church, 640
North 5th Street. Hours: Saturday, 12PM-4PM, and Sunday 11AM-4PM.
Demonstration at 1PM on both days by “Mr. California Juniper”, Harry
Hirao. Plant and vendor sales both days. Free admission. Donations

Yukiyama Bonsai Kai: Annual
Bonsai show will be held at Moana Lane Nursery, corner of Lakeside Dr.
and Moana Lane. Hours are Saturday, 10AM-5PM and Sunday, 10AM-3PM with
demonstrations at 1PM both days. Demonstration trees will be raffled.
