August Meetings

Meetings are held in the large upstairs room at the Heather Farm Garden Center, Walnut Creek, and are scheduled on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, from 7:00PM to 9:30PM.

                                         Workshop 7:00 – 9:30 p.m. Critique of members' trees.  See note below.

 Notes

August Meeting - For our August meeting, 'K' has asked that each member bring in their 2 best trees.  Bring in whatever you believe are your finest display trees, and you will have a chance to show them off to the club.  Even if you're just starting out in bonsai and only have 2 trees that you've just started to work with, 'K' would like to see them.

 

September Meetings - Beginning in September, the club will hold separate meetings for the Basic I and Basic II classes.  The Basic I class will meet on the first Tuesday of the month, and the Basic II will meet on the second Tuesday.

Redwood Empire Bonsai Society: 26th Annual Bonsai Show at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building, 1351 Maple Ave. Hours are Saturday, 10AM-5PM and Sunday, 10AM-4PM. Demonstration by Kathy Shaner at 1:30PM, both days. Over 200 trees exhibited, along with a large vendor room, members’ consignment sales, raffles, door prizes, benefit drawings and ongoing club member demonstrations.
