Of his crewmen that dared to dally and swerve.

As the Jolly Roger silently stalked the Clippers.
Twas on the dawn of a lingering red morning
That a clipper lay sleeping and failed to heed warning.
A Buccaneer's dream ... a heavily laden drowsy prey
Was unveiled majestically with the horizon's day.
The cannon vollies echoed and were loud and swift
As the twenty side guns belched powder adrift.
The Clipper bulged with treasures unnamed, a pirate's delight.
Oh, but the best treasure, a living, breathing, Princess of Light.
The Princess that tales of tales would surreptitiously serve
All that looked upon her would lose their nerve.
"Take No Prisoners, save the Princess!" the Buccaneer commanded,
And all the pirates heralded and remanded.
"My captain, oh noble man, my life you have given me."
Her cry sailed over the crystal waters of the emerald sea.
We shall be secure in your secret cove
Where my life will become your treasure-trove.
The Buccaneer marveled at her natural beauty
And forever repelled temptation's acuity.
While he held her sleeping in their bungalow,
His passions renewed with each breath's flow.
The Princess and the Pirate, this story unveils,
That nobleness and kindness will prevail.
Love's unbounding vein shall cross the waves
Which radiates from a lighthouse, for those who are brave.
