Sailing On The Winds
From the distant horizon the fury of the wind
Sweeps the air's currents to far off places.
Images of lives fill the expanse and whose voices
Travel upon the sailing winds.
As the fury is unleashed and the giant trees
Bend with intensity and snap to the gales,
Those voices that chose to stay aloft,
Escape the splintering by the sailing winds.
My body soars with the heights of currents,
Just as easily falls with the downdrafts.
I have chosen to freefall with the gusts,
His need beckons me, I will go, sailing with the winds.
As the wind carries us away, our voices fly.
Our bodies are fluid and alive as they sail the heavens.
Our thoughts are gleeming delights of ecstasy,
We have only our thoughts, while sailing with the wind.
The wind will always be swirling about our planet's orb.
And, as it carries the currents of thought,
Which mingle and smile, they know our fate.
Our destiny lies in sailing with the wind.
