This is (Aimee) hookin yah up with mah concert experience that I had in April of 1998.....Monica hasnt been to an Immature concert before but when she does finally go to one we will post it up!
The day was Saturday April 4th,1998....I was going to Knott's Berry Farm(an amusement park here in cali) I had no idea Immature was going to be there so it was a coincedence. N/E waize. I woke up that day feeling a good feeling...Sorta like that day would be the best day of mah life but i had no idea what would happen so I was in for a surprise.
I woke up mah dad after I was ready. Mah Tia(aunt) dropped off mah cousin(Jose) at our house and mah dad drove us to pick up Ana (one of mah frenz) and Monica couldn't go =(. So after we picked up Ana we noticed it was raining alot and we hoped the park wasn't closed because we would all have to go back home and we wanted some fun!
We arrived at the park and realized there were no lines to get in. Which is a really big surprise. We paid...and I had coupons! The ticket is usually $32.00 and we each only paid $17.50!
So we got in and headed for the lockers. Afeter we pack everything into the small locker we headed down Ghost Town and I saw a llllooonnnnggggg line....so I asked the girl in front of us what the line was for..she replied," Immature....you need wristbands!" "DUH!!" So we all got in line...mah cousin was really upset to the fact that he was gonna see a concert in which he didn't care for!
The line was long but it only took 10 min. because all they did was put a wristband on your arm. White was for the 7:00 show and I believe that the 10:00 show was a blue band but who knows. We got the 7o'clock show! So after that we had 9 hours till the concert because it was 10:00 am at the time.
We messed around, met people. got on rides, eat, and soon enough it was time for the concert! We got in the line about 20 min before it began. We got basically the worst seats in the house!! It was so packed! Mah fren Ana didn't really care because she thought the show would be like 20 min so she chilled. But it was an hour and 20 min so she got mad! And Jose just looked around for girls and of course there were hundreds of girls! Mama Stokes started up the show. Then MQ3 did their single and Sec-N-Sol made all the girls just literally go crazy! Then there was a lil intermission and they played dope jams and so on they played music for about 5-10 min. Soon Immature popped out! We all screamed and tryed to run to the front but the dumb security would not let us and threatened to kick us out if we tryed again so we all just screamed.
Immature performed really well and were a hit! After the concert I noticed a lil bit of flirting between mah cousin and mah fren...so I got really pissed and just ignored them. The realized I was upset so they said they would do anything to make me happy again. And thats where I got mah bad plan.
Well its a good plan but its not meant to be done. It was 9:00pm and we decided to get in line to see immature again. The line was just as long as last time but then we were onto the balcony and everyone tryed to get as close to the door as possible. Closest to the door meant best seats possible! So they checked bands and I told them that the guard said it was too full to get in the first one. He believed me and let us hop right in. The front row seats were gone as well as the 2nd. We hopped our way over to the 3rd row....last time we had to of had 20th row. So this was good. The whole performance was basically the same but this time I got to get a picture of them and actually have romeo throw his shirt to me BUT! you will not believe what happened next!
SOME BOOCH LITERATLY SNATCHED IT FROM ME AND RAN LIKE HORSE! I CHASED HER BUT THE GUARD CAUGHT AHOLD OF ME AND LET HER GO!! I WAS SO UPSET!! HE THREW IT TO ME!! So I turned to him and frowned and he gave me a smile cuz we went back to the front and he reached to touch mah hand! but the security guard pushed me back! I upset again, decided to take a close up photo of him he smiled right at mah camara so i took a pix of him cheesin. I was happy again!
After the performance mah cousin became a fan....he now loves them...It was about 10:40pm so the concert began at nine somethin...n/e waize..we had only till 12 which is when the park closes. We headed for Boomer Rang (one of the best rides they got) and we joked around while in line and I turned mah head a lil and saw some very coo people.....guess who it was?
No sowwie it was not immature unfortunatly but it was Sec-N-Sol. Richard stood right next to me so I introduced mahself to him and we talked till we got to the ride. The ride had each row have two seats each. LiL C had met a girl so he rode with her and The rest of the guys left Richard to ride by himself....I had to ride alone also....so Richard offered to ride with me. we rode and after the ride decided to hang together for a while. Then I blurted out "Can you pleaze hook me up wit meetin Immature?!" he said of course. We were right at the dressing room door and Immature had just left for the hotel!!!!!! I was mad again but not as much this time because Richard was just too nice. But oh well.
Then sleepy time came about we went home and went to bed. Later that spring break week I put the pics to get devolped and each one came out horrible!!!They all were too bad!! It was the backround! The backround was orange!! But one picture came out and its not one of the ones I hoped for but its betta then nothing! So check it out.
