the krazy wrestling federation is founded in san ramon, california. san ramon is a small town in the bay area of california, kinda close to san fransisco for you east coasters. the kwf was started by dan, josh, will, and vince back in the early years, around 1996-97. it started as a joke. just recording themselves doing random things for the camera. infact, it started as a "mortal kombat" re-enactment. slowly, however, the kwf was formed into a wrestling federation. however, they were still young and feeble.
one day, when the kwf was having what they called a "match" back then, they saw a weird contraption that they called "the pile". they began to throw each other on the pile that was made of wooden logs, a metal grate, and some other weird contraptions. ever since that day, the kwf would never be the same. they began to have matches with the pile, and began tossing in new props, like such things as the chair, the ladder, and many many more. the kwf started getting a little more braver.
it was then that headman dan nevares decided to take the kwf public. nevares took all the footage made by the kwf at that time and released volume 1. the kwf, however, was not much of a success with volume 1. however, neither of the 4 members cared for their success at the time. it was just a fun game. a hobbie, i'd call it.
then, along came... the flourescent lightbulb. the lightbulb was introduced for the first time when skye phillips smashed it over the back of vix dred. that changed the whole perspective on the kwf. lightbulbs began to be used more frequently.
then, the kwf recruited kevin ahmadi. thinking more clearly, they try to make the kwf bigger. however, shorly after kevin joined, both will and vince quit the kwf. they just didn't feel up for the wrestling anymore. so, the kwf was only 3 people left. dan, josh, and kevin. of course, the kwf tried extremley hard to recruit more and more people. however, during all of this, the kwf released volume 2. volume 2 showed a much higher success rate than volume 1 did. the kwf was extremley happy for it's time. however, the future of the kwf was in jeopardy. could they find new members?
of course they would. about 3 months after volume 2 was released, the kwf has found members such as andrew medina, justin schuh, and brandon bernie. so now, the kwf consisted of 6 members. josh, dan, kevin, andrew, justin, and brandon. the kwf was back on a roll. they continued to wrestle, adding more lightbulbs, and more props, such as trashcans, picture frames, ect. also, dan did much better with the highlights and editing of the tapes by now. because of this, the kwf held it's first pay per view. in 1998, no mercy '98 was released. no mercy sent the kwf sky rocketing.
after the success of no mercy '98, the kwf went back down. the kwf did nothing. they sat their on their ass'. about 4 months passed without any action at all, because certian members of the kwf were having regrets. however, finally, the kwf came back into action, as they started to record for volume 3. volume 3 was another amazing success, with awesome highlights and beautifully done matches. volume 3, however long it was delayed, was still a beautiful piece of work.
finally, people were anticipating the release of kwf's next tape, entitled volume 4. the kwf wasted no time in wrestling for this tape. they went at it immediatley. they had to do something special. well, that they did. volume 4 featured an amazing rumble. a rumble that lasted about an hour long of non stop action, and featured the return of kwf pioneers, will and vince. the kwf was back in action with 8 members, and finally, released volume 4. volume 4 followed volume 3 beautifully, and the fans loved it. the kwf felt that it was time for another pay per view
this time, the kwf wanted to go all out extreme. they wanted to put everything they could on one single tape. to make it a masterpiece. they did just that. matches that no one has ever seen. 2 amazing rematches, and props all over the place. the kwf was ready to release. although it took over 5 months for the finished product to hit the shelves, the kwf released what they called "krazymania II". it was entitled the best kwf tape ever, and it was believed that nothing could top it.
however, since that time, the kwf has found more members, with the likes of awf members eli murrie, mike ancin, ray torres, and mike mcdermott. although, once again, the returning will and vince had to leave once again. but they left on very good terms. and now, 2000, the kwf adds steve mosher to the roster, and released proletariat 6, featuring no mercy '99. the kwf plans to see how well p6 does before they plan any new tapes. no one knows what the next move of the kwf will be.
