message to backyard wrestlers

this is a letter that was written for every other backyard wrestling federation out there. backyard wrestling is a hobbie, and it should be considered nothing more than a hobbie. when backyard wrestlers go looking for other feds just to make fun of their fed because they are not as "hardcore" or they're stupid because they're too "hardcore" that they might hurt themselves, backyard wrestling does not become united.

backyard wrestlers should know by now that backyard wrestling has been damaged and ruined by the media. the media has tried endlessly to fill the minds of the viewers with crap. the media has tried to tell people that backyard wrestling is stupid, and that kids can hurt themselves extremley badly. the media does not tell the viewer that backyard wrestlers are extremley careful about the moves they apply, and that there has been no true result of any death in backyard wrestling. every accusation about a death in backyard wrestling that has been told to date has been extremley false.

the only way we can fight the media and show them that backyard wrestling is not something they can shut down because we wont buy their air time is to unite. we want the media to know that backyard wrestling is not a bunch of kids trying to train and get into professional wrestling. myself and many other kwf members don't even watch professional wrestling, and we know many backyard wrestlers who have no asperation as to getting into the professional wrestling scene. we do not condone the usage of backyard wrestling to train for professional wrestling. we do it because it's a sport, and anyone who wants to be a professional wrestler should not be doing backyard wrestling, but rather be taking wrestling school to learn what they must really do.

however, when backyard wrestling feds are fighting against each other and making fun of other feds because one fed is not as cool as another fed, that just sickens me. how will we ever unite if you degrade our scene? we want to send the media a message, then you go off and talk trash about other feds because they're not as cool as you are or you're just jealous of them, which is in all ways just like professional wrestling. there should be no politics in backyard wrestling, but rather fun, and enjoyment in what we do. not wars.

all the feds that are on the kwf link page are what we consider companions. they keep backyard wrestling united, and do not start stupid wars by finding sites and trashing their guestbook with idiotic accusations. that's why i ask one final time that we unite backyard wrestling. make it one, and send the media a message. tell them that we will not be insulted by your broadcasts anymore. refuse to do backyard wrestling related media shows if all they want to do is insult you and what you do, trying to change your beliefs. we are backyard wrestling... not professional wrestling.
