WYADUCK here...
I mentioned in a previous post that KV had hand-painted quotes from Twain and
Blake on the outside of his house. I already gave the Twain quote. Here's the
Blake quote which he painted on the door of an old barn (now a converted work
room for his artwork):
"He who binds to himself a joy
doth the winged life destroy."
