THE 13 CLOCKS
This is a short, light, skewed fairy tale-- princesses, and evil Dukes, and handsome princesses, and a Golux with an undescribable hat. It's very short, and has pictures, but the prose is idiosyncratic and wonderful. The Duke says at one point, "We all have our faults, and mine is being wicked." Beautiful!
