THE DORAN DUET
This is one of the most wonderful fantasy series I've ever read. Two books: Wise Child, and its prequel, Juniper. They're all set in ancient Scotland (I believe) with some very creative imagery and what seems to be excellent research (or fabrication) about dorans-- their equivalent of nature witches.
ROBIN'S COUNTRY
This is a retelling of the Robin Hood legend from the traditional mute boy's point of view. It's for a very young audience (probably 10 and under) and isn't too impressive. Furlong doesn't do too much with the legend, and while temporarily diverting, it doesn't have much to offer.
