Imagining I can look into your eyes.
Wondering if maybe,
You're looking back at me.
Wondering if this game that we're playing,
Is putting you through the same pain.
Our hearts and souls are together,
But our bodies and minds are away from one another.
They're seperated, and mine is torn apart.
Unable to live without it's heart.
For I sent mine with you,
Even though us being apart is something I knew.
I knew you'd be gone for a long time,
And I thought that I'd be fine.
Little did I know,
How far my heart had to go.
My soul is not far behind,
And meanwhile, my body is dying.
I need you here with me,
So that I can once again be happy.
So that we can be together,
And our bodies can console one another
As our hearts and souls will never enter our bodies again,
Because they'll be together until the very end.
