As the crowd screamed, A.J., Nick, Brian, Howie and Kevin walked backstage after a show.
"That was a pretty good concert," commented Howie, taking a long drink of water.
"Depends," said A.J.
"Depends on what?" asked Kevin.
"Depends on weather you got hit on the head with a candy bar or not," laughed A.J., rubbing his forehead.
"Hey, where's Nick and Brian?" asked Howie, looking around to see where the two of them had disapeared too.
Kevin gave him a strange look. "Do you have to ask?" asked Kevin, smiling.
"Sounds like the crowd liked the concert," said Desteny, putting an outfit away.
"Was there ever any doubt?" asked Melody smiling, as she straightened out some of the make-up on the counter.
Desteny and Melody were backstage. Not only did they travel with the guys, they were working for them. Desteny helped with outfits and Melody helped with make-up. It had been 4 years since the guys invited them to come with them. Desteny and Nick were now 22. Melody was 23, and Brian was 27, A.J. was 24, Howie was 29 and Kevin was the big 3-0. The Backstreet Boys were even more popular than they were 4 years ago.
"I wonder where we're going next," said Desteny, ever curious.
"Hopefully into my arms," said a familer voice.
Desteny turned around and saw two smiling blue eyes looking at her. "Hey Nick," Desteny hugged him and kissed him.
"Do I get a kiss?" Brian asked Melody.
"Maybe." Melody wrapped her arms around Brian's neck and kissed him gently. "Yup," she whispered.
"So the concert go good?" asked Desteny, snuggling with Nick.
"Ya, but some girl threw a candybar at A.J. and it hit him on the forehead. He claimes that he's seeing double now," laughed Brian.
"Ouch," laughed Desteny.
"So, your wondering where we're going next?" asked Nick, getting a sly smiled on his face.
Desteny had seen that look many times and she knew it meant something good. "Yeah," she said, suspisously.
"Well, we have some very good news. The next 2 days, we're heading to Sunship, your home town," smiled Brian.
Desteny and Melody broke out in grins. "We're going home?" asked Melody, her eyes shinning.
"That's right," smiled Nick.
"Alright," cried Melody and Desteny high-fiving each other.
