They were now in London, England for a huge concert later that night. It had been sold out for months and pracicly the whole city was buzzing about the concert. For now, they were backstage, waiting for the sound check. This was also the last concert Desteny and Melody would be at until after the babies were born.
"This is going to be an amazing concert," said A.J., as they waiting the the green room.
"London has always been one of my favorite places," smiled Desteny.
"My favorite place is where ever you are," murmered Nick, wrapping his arms around her waist. Desteny giggled.
"You two never stop, do you?" asked Kevin, smiling.
"You should talk. You should see yourself when you get together with Lacey?" grinned Desteny. Kevin looked sheepishly away and blushed. Lacey was his steady girlfriend who lived in Canada. Whenever she and Kevin got together, you could not seperate them. The same way Nick and Desteny were and Kevin knew it.
"Are you sure that you want to leave after the concert?" Howie asked Desteny.
"It's not that I want to. It's just that it's getting hard to keep up with you guys," said Desteny, sadly.
"We're all going to miss you," said A.J., looking sad.
Desteny smiled and gave him a hug. "I'll only be a phone call away," she pointed out.
Nick sighed. "It still won't be the same. We'll all miss you a tonn. Both you and Melody," he said sadly.
Brian wrapped his arms around Melody. "What will I do without you?" he asked in a funny voice, making everyone laugh.
"Trust me. I wish I didn't have to leave. Plus, I can't fly in my third tri-mester and you guys sometimes have to fly," said Desteny. She turned to Melody. "You don't have to leave with me you know."
Melody smiled. "I want to. Face it Dest. You're going to need help," she said.
Desteny sighed in defeat. "Fine but don't come whinning to me when you miss Brian," she warned.
"Let's just do our best to make this the best concert we've ever done. Kind of a good-bye concert," suggested Kevin.
"Sounds like a plan," said Howie.
Just then, the guys were called to do the sound check. They each gave the girls a kiss and left the room.
Melody and Desteny were sitting in the front row, waiting for the concert to start. It was an exciting moment, but also a sad moment. It was going to be the last time that they would see the guys in 5 months, though Nick would see them in 4.
Melody was looking up at the stage, when she turned to Desteny to see tears in her friends eyes.
"Dest, what's wrong?" asked Melody.
"I'm going to miss Nick and the guys so much. What will I do without him?" she asked, as the tears started to stream down her face.
"Look. It's only 4 months. You'll talk with him and the guys almost everyday, you're going to be really busy getting ready for the baby. Also, you and Nick got an apartment and I'm going to be moving in while you're pregnent so you won't be alone," said Melody, trying to comfort Desteny.
Desteny sniffed. "I guess so."
"Come on. Let's just enjoy the concert and worry about saying good-bye tomorrow when we leave," suggested Melody, just as the lights went down and the concert started.
