"What a day," sighed Melody, one night.
"Did you see the look on Billy's face when we told him," laughed Desteny.
"He was like, what have you girls been drinking." Melody broke out laughing.
"He still wasn't convinsted when we gave back his tickets because we have backstage passes, plus balcony seats, thanks to the guys," said Desteny, laughing even harder.
After the laughter died down, the two girls were lost in their own thought, thinking about the day. They both had another kick ass time with a guys and hoped the guys were feeling the same.
Just then, Desteny's dad opened up the door, scaring the both of them.
"I think I'm deaf," said Desteny's dad, after the two screamed.
"Sorry dad but, DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!!!!" Desteny cried.
"Sorry, I was just wondering when you two are leaving for the Backstreet Boys concert tomorrow," asked her dad.
"Probaby 5 o'clock pm," replied Melody.
"K, see you ladies in the morning," yawned Desteny's dad.
"Night," they courised.
Desteny's dad softly shut the door. The girls were tired. They guys and them had gone to the park and had run around the whole day. They silently crawled into their beds (Melody was sleeping over) and fell asleep right away, dreaming great dreams about certain guys *wink wink*.
All day the next day, the two girls tried to take their minds off the up coming concert later that night. Desteny decided to wear her sunflower tinytee and blue jean overall short and a white Nike baseball cap on over her hair on a ponytail.
Melody decided to wear tight, white short that compilmented her good figure and a white tank top under a see through light blue shirt that highlighted her eyes. They both put on very little make-up (they weren't into looking like clowns) and waited for 5 o'clock to roll around, when they had decided to leave.
They had gotten together with Liz, who couldn't come to the concert. They had promised that they would get her a sovenier and lots of pictures.
Finaly, after what seemed like 5 weeks, 5 o'clock came. The girls got into the car, barely able to control their excitment. Melody was driving. It was a short drive to the coloseum and soon they were about to have the best time of their lives.
They had aranged to meet the guys before the concert backstage. The guys had told them to show their passes to the guard and tell them their names and they would take them to a room where they could talk almost right up till show time. After getting there, as they got deeper into the coloseum, their excitment grew. Only a rare few got to acctuly meet the guys and the guys were acctuly their friends. They hadn't told anyone at school, who would believe them?!?
It was early, but there was still quite a bit of people there. There were all looking around at souviners or looking to see if the guys were anywhere.
They went down to the main floor and found a guard. They showed their passes to a guard and told them their names, just like the guards had told them to. He checked a chart, after making sure their passes weren't fake, and then he told them to follow him. He showed them backstage to a brightly lit room with some comfortable couches in it. The guard disappered as they sat down, wondering what to do.
A minute later, two other girls showed up too. They introduced themselves as Tanya and Sarah. They had grown up with Kevin and Howie and the guys had invited them to see them, while they were in town. Tanya and Sarah were really friendsly and the 4 of them hit it off really well. They talked until the guys showed up about 10 minutes later. The guys all sat down and introduced the 4 girls to each other. They all started talking just like they had been friends forever, instead of just a few days. While they were talking, Desteny noticed that Brian and Melody really hit it off. She was really happy for her friend. Desteny also noticed that she was getting a lot of attention from Nick and A.J. She really liked both A.J. and Nick but when Nick smiled at her, her insides seemed to melt.
Soon, it was time for the concert. They guys left reluctatly because they were having such a great time. They said good-bye and invited the girls to come and see them after the show. Of course they said yes. Desteny, Melody, Tanya and Sarah left together and went up to their seats. They happily found out that their seats were right beside each other. They were both really excited about seeing the guys perform again.
The concert was great. The seats were really close to the stage so they could see the guys every movement, even when Nick and Brian winked at them. The guys sang all their favorite songs, from As Long As You Love Me, to I'll Never Break Your Heart. Melody and Desteny felt as if they were in a dream. One they did not want to wake up from. When Nick was singing Heaven In You Eyes, he even pointed up at where Desteny and Melody were sitting. Of course, Melody bugged Desteny about that.
After the concert, the girls, with Sarah and Tanya, made their way backstage again. The noice was deafening. They had to cover their ears at one point. But soon, the sound went down as the crowd left. Once again they sat down in the room with couches. They were all really hyper about the concert and couldn't sit still. After about 15 minutes, the guys showed up.
'Wow,' thought Desteny. 'Nick looks really cute.' Nick had had a shower and his hair was kind of wind blown look.
Everyone sat down and started taking again. The girls had really like the concert but the guys were modest. But for some reason, A.J. hadn't shown up yet. But Desteny soon forgot all about A.J. Nick was being so nice and he had a great sence of humor.
"Hey Desteny," said Nick.
"You can call me Dest," said Desteny. Melody looked over in surprise. Desteny didn't let anyone call he Dest except her and her other close friends. Melody smiled. 'She must really like Nick,' she thought.
"So Dest, are you thristy?" asked Nick, smiling.
"Ya, a bit," said Desteny.
"I have some cokes in my dressing room," suggested Nick.
"Ok," Desteny said, trying not to smile too much. Desteny heard a strange noice. She turned to she Melody to see her hands covering her mouth, trying not to laugh out loud. Tanya, Kevin, Brian, Howie and Sarah had the same looks on their faces. Desteny gave them all a dirty look but when Nick took her hand, she forgot all about everyone else. Nick led her down a hallway out of view.
Eveyone looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"What's so funny?" asked a voice.
They turned around to see A.J. standing there, a confused look on his face.
"We were laughing at the look on Desteny's face when Nick was taking her to his dressing room," Melody chocked out, then they all burst out laughing again.
"What?" cried A.J. and took off running in the direction Nick and Desteny left.
"What's his problem?" asked Melody.
"Ah...you didn't mention they were going to get drinks," explained Brian.
Melody's eyes got wide. "Oops," she said inecetly.
"I guess he got the wrong idea," said Tanya, smiling.
"Gee, I wonder how he could have," said Howie, trying not to laugh.
