"Crystal" is not only my first Boxer but is also my first dog. As a child I had long wanted my own doggy buddy. After quite a bit of thought and investigation
into this breed, we decided the Boxer would be perfect for our high energy household. Crystal has definitely introduced us to the Boxer in a big way.
This girl is smart as a whip and very much a loving member of the household. Crystal was happily bounced into the Double Digit Club!
While Crystal was only shown in the show ring on a limited basis, she had a great time. She had a few impressive class wins and even garnered a Reserve
Winners Bitch; difficult when you are the only plain girl in the ring. Crystal's true calling is to be a companion to the humans and leader of the Boxer pack.
Since the day we brought her home, over 12 years ago, quite a bit has happened. Crystal has completed her basic obedience training, passed the
AKC Canine Good Citizen test (CGC) and also passed the American Temperament Test (ATTS). In Crystal's spare time
she produced 3 AKC Champion sons. Quite an accomplishment for any proud momma.
Crystal left us at the impressive age of 12-1/2 years old. She had developed Degenerative Myelopothy which is a degeneration of the spine. We spent months working with her, learning what we could and heeding recommendations by those in the know. Bravely she fought until the day came when that fight was over. Crystal came into our home like a storm and left in the peaceful of all fashions. Final Goodbye

Dudley hit the show ring in WA with a bang. He finished in just 7 weekends as well as placing 2nd at the 1999 ABC National Specialty Futurity. As a Special, Dudley has won several Best of Breeds and Group placements. He has also passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
