One year later, the Dyes sent an lovely Champion daughter of Gracie; Ch Raintree's Java Connection. Tia and Booker T produced a wonderful litter with another star Boxer girl:
Delilah was bred for her 2nd litter in 2004 to Ch Crysto's Image of Arriba, SOM. From this litter we already have 3 very promising show kids. Sunny is being shown on the West coast while her siblings are on the East coast.
"Jersey" - Ch Raintree's Jersey Girl
New Foundation
January 1999 PawPrint Boxers brought home a lovely young puppy bitch:
"Penny" - Am/Int'l Ch Rosend's n PawPrint's New Year, CGC TT
Once again fate found me at the home of Lynda Yon lightening her Boxer load by one very sweet puppy girl. Penny finished her Championship quickly while racking up some impressive wins. Penny competed at the 5/99 ABC Nationals and went 2nd in an impressive Futurity class of (21). She has four Specialty Reserves including the October 1999 ABC Regionals. She finished with 3 huge Majors both at and during Specialty weekends. Penny also has her International Championship title with IABCA, has passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test (CGC) as well as the ATTS Temperament test.
Incredible litter - March 29th, 2001
PawPrint Boxers proudly announced a new litter March of 2001. This was very exciting because it was the first litter for our newest star, Penny. Sired by Booker T, this breeding produced a wonderful litter with three puppies showing outstanding potential. Both JJ and Copper were Major pointed from the 6-9 month puppy class. Dottie is pointed from the 9-12 month class and handled by her breeder. Regrettably her owner decided to pull her from completing her Championship, though I have no doubt she would have finished4. JJ quickly finished up his Championship at 13 months old and finishing with 3 Majors as well as a Best of Breed win. Brother Copper finished just one month later with 4 Majors and a finishing BOB from the classes!
These Champion kids are fantastic:
"JJ" - Ch PawPrint Mirror Image at Ventura
"Copper" - Ch PawPrint's Sharper Image
Next Generation Litter - 11/16/01
Co-bred with Andelz Boxers, another lovely pointed Booker T daughter was bred. PawPrint's Andel Vision "Tess" whelped a litter sired by BIS BISS Ch Storybook's Rip It Up, SOM.
From this litter an eye catching fawn male emerged and came to PawPrint.
"Diesel" - Ch PawPrint's Winning Ways
Diesel makes his home in Washington state with BarNone Boxers. In a wonderful return to the PawPrint team, Moment's owners have brought this boy into their home. Diesel hit the ring running. Just his 2nd weekend in the ring found him winning Best Puppy in Show at the Kennel Club of Riverside (1900 entry). The weekend brought his first Best of Winners, Reserve Winners and onto Best Puppy in a Regional Specialty. All at just 10 months of age. Diesel went home for a few months to grow up and get ready for the real deal. Once again he came out like a bat out of hell by finishing up his Championship in 8 weeks. Diesel finished with 3 huge Majors and at 17 months old. This is a very impressive Boxer male.
New Sire of Merit - 6/23/02
This was definitely a milestone for PawPrint Boxers. Not only did June 23, 2002 see the 10th Champion (Copper) finish for the PawPrint family, but this was also the 7th Champion sired by Booker T. This makes him eligible for the American Boxer Club title of Sire Of Merit! Booker T will be part of the Boxer history books as a recognized top producer in our breed. Words cannot explain the thrill and emotions that ran through my mind on that sunny day in Napa, CA at the Wine Country Kennel Club. "Copper", needing only 2 singles to finish his title, went Best of Breed over 4 Champion Specials to win his Championship!
Penny bred again 2004
How can we argue with the success that Penny came us? Her 2nd litter was whelped May 25th, 2004. The sire this time was Am/Can Ch Irondale's Jagged Edge. From this pairing came a very promising young lady who is only just now starting to train for the show ring.
"Holly" - PawPrint Holly Golightly
3rd Generation Litter born July 21, 2002
As hard as it is to believe, my 3rd Generation announced itself July of 2002. A finished Booker T granddaughter, Ch PawPrint's Seduction, was bred to Am/Can Berlane's Causin' An Uproar, SOM CDX. This was a nice linebreeding which had fantastic results. "Samson" emerged;
"Samson" - Ch Cinnamon I've Been Seduced, CGC
Samson was shown a handful of times as a pup and then put away to mature. He came out during the January 2004 Florida circuit shows. He went from start to finish with four 4 point Majors in just 12 days including a Best of Specialty Winners! His show career was so short and successful, if you blinked you would have missed him. He will be selectively specialed in the future.
"Posey" - Cinnamon-PawPrint Expose' (major pointed)
"Sunny" - Cinnamon-PawPrint Del Sol (reserve winner)
"Tavin" - Cinnamon Advocate (at home maturing)
The loss of Crystal - 10/01/05
Sadly, we lost Crystal to Degenerative Myelopothy. She was 12-1/2 years old which is just a marvel in today's Boxers. Crystal paved the way for every single PawPrint dog who has come and will come through our doors. Her spirit was strong. Her presence undeniable. Crystal will never be forgotten. She opened a huge world to both myself husband and I. She was his daughter and he was her adoring father. Crystal was larger than life and remained so right up to her loss.
3rd Generation Litter due December 05, 2005
As I type this, we are waiting on Delilah's final breeding. She was bred to Am/Can BIS Ch Bentbrook's Image of High Noon, SOM. "Spirit" is a lovely typey fawn male whom compliments well with Delilah. This is truly a co-breeding with Cinnamon Boxers as there are plans to have a show pup come to live at PawPrint permanently. With the loss of our matriarch Crystal, the household needs a new puppy voice. I am eager to see what gems Delilah gives us and which jewel comes to my home. This will be a Booker T great-granddaughter which makes her extra special.
This is a continuing History that only gets better each year. The continued success of PawPrint Boxers is shared by all involved. I have been blessed to meet some good people that are always willing to be there for the Boxer kids. I give full credit to owners and handlers of my extended Boxer family. May you all share in Year 2005-2006 yet-to-come successes !!
