Splashdown finished his AKC Championship at the age of 13 months and with 3 Major wins over 24 shows. He was held out for 6 months and then Specialed. Splashdown won his first Best of Breed Best at just 7 months old and from the 6-9 month puppy class. This was at the Langley Kennel Club 5/25/86 and under judge Lester R. Mapes. He won Best of Breed at the American Boxer Club National Specialty 10/17/87 under breeder-judge Mrs. Harriett Campbell. Splashdown won Best of Breed at the Westminister Kennel Club on 2/08/88. .

Splashdown's final show appearance was at the American Boxer Club National Specialty where he won the Veteran class at 7 years old in May 1992. He definitely leaves an incredible legacy in the get he has sired. Splashdown is the sire of 8 Sires and Dams of Merit. This is one more than Bangaway!
