Sorrow
The dove sings sadly
Calling out to me
Sorrow I feel
It fly's to thee
Its wings flap softly
Sings winters song
Of passion and patience
Has love gone wrong
The darkness hovers
I search for thee
Only to find you
Accusing me
A lie in drunkeness
Never
I was sober
whence I swore
my love for thee
forever more
thy rose in hand
A sigh from me
As I await a kiss from thee.

Free
I wake to find the sun
Shining on my sleepy face
I stretch and wiggle
Break free from your embrace
I sit up and stare
Then smile from happiness
I head for the kitchen
The coffee to roast
I hear you call to me
Girl I want to boast
Boast of what?
I say in return
You reply
Boast to all
Girl you set me free
To truly love once more
And to only Love thee
