Sinajuavi and I met on the summer solstice of 1998. We lived at that time 2100 miles apart, each lonely and feeling more alienated than connected with those around us. One day in an internet chatroom we encountered each other and each knew instantly that we had met someone very important to us. By September we were communicating by telephone, and on October 4 Sinajuavi arrived in my Midwestern town. By the eighth, we were agreed that I would come to California to live with him, and two days later we left to begin our lives together.

Now, years have passed in California. Sinajuavi and I know as surely as ever that we have been together many times before and will stay together as long as we have life in these current bodies and beyond. A noted pagan author has told us that what we experienced was the result of a "past-life trigger" upon which we had agreed in a prior life as a means of instant recognition. Our triggers were most likely embedded in our chatroom nicknames or in the first few phrases we had said to each other.

We have assorted memories of each other from before, some distinct and some vague. (One that is VERY distinct...as he is still in THAT life, while I am in a new one). We have a constantly growing feeling that we have been together for a long time, and that the love we feel is stronger than any either of us had felt or been aware of in these lives prior to our meeting in June. We are aware that much of our potential as individuals can only be realized in union with each other, and that there is much we are to do.

Our work includes the propagation and gathering of medicinal and magickal plants on the earth, and the propagation of information and knowledge among people about herbs, living on rather than off of the earth, and about the Ancient Path. In all of these areas we are students, workers and teachers.
