Let's talk Roxbury. I have always been a fan of the sketch, and Chris, so naturally I saw the movie twice in it's opening week (it did well, raking in 10 million and claiming the Number 4 spot). I must say, the movie is even better the second time. While short (86 minutes) it's action-packed, full of beating music and hilarious content....as well as dancing and sex. Lot's of dancing and sex. Lots of Chris Kattan dancing and sex.
Unexpectedly, the movie actually has a plot, a legit one at that. Steve (Will Ferrel) and Doug (Chris) Butabi have a dream. They go club hopping every night, not scoring, and all the while they know if they had a club of their own they would. Steve (the slightly...off brother) and Doug (the smarter, cuter one) set out one night hellbent on getting into the Roxbury. With the help of Richard Grieco (from 21 Jumpstreet, playing himself) Dewey (Colin Quinn), and Emily (molly Shannon) things get a little weird....you just have to see it. Even Lonnie Anderson is in there.
