San Francisco is a solidly angel town, so much so that it's often a first landing for new fledglings, even relievers. It's safe, celestially speaking. A demon or Hellsworn might be tolerated for a day or two in transit, but no more. Anything less committed than that will be loved into submission. ;)
An antiquarian book fair
A first edition Hemingway? A set of letters from a long-dead monarch? A book bound in human skin? You can find any of those here for a price. But bring some serious cash, unless you want to spend your time just looking, or picking up some unloved old novels. The connoisseurs' books start in the four figures.
