- November 17, 1980 ~ Clark Isaac Hanson is born! (Ike)
- March 14, 1983 ~ Jordan Taylor Hanson is born! (Tay)
- October 22, 1985 ~ Zachary Walker Hanson is born! (Zac)
- 1987 ~ Hanson travels to the Caribbean and South America because of dad's position as an international finace executive!
- 1988 ~ First Hanson song ever written was by Ike, Rain Falling Down, he was 8! Also sister Jessica Grace Hanson is born! (Jessica)
- 1991 ~ Sister Avery Laurel Hanson is born! (Avery)
- May, 1992 ~ The boys, then known as the Hanson Brothers, perform several songs at Mayfest Festival in Tulsa!
- 1993 ~ The band changes its name to Hanson!

- Early March, 1997 ~ Mercury Records rents out the Little Tulsa Theater for a week, so the brothers can practice on an actual stage!

- May 6, 1997 ~ Governor of Oklahomea declares May 6 Hanson Day! Middle of Nowhere is released, reaching number 9 in its first week! Hanson appear on David Letterman!
