Drugs & Alcohol

By Brandon Loomis

Mark Henry, a twenty-nine year old athlete died of a drug and alcolhol mixture. He mixed "rufees" with tequilla. Prior to his death, Mark was a world champion weight lifter. He had a house full of trophies. Sadly, he died before even reaching the age of thirty.

Drugs and alcohol are bad enough. Mixing the two is a deadly combo, as Mark Henry’s story proves. In the long run, either one may lead to death. I feel that drugs and alcohol ruin good things like families and lives.

Doctors and law makers should stiffen the penalties for drug trafficking. Many accidents are related to either one of the two. Drugs and alcohol are expensive and illegal. Drugs cause people to act foolishly and violently in most cases. Drugs and Alcohol can lead to long prison sentences.
