Fastball
No One Hit Wonder

Most people know Fastball for their hit single, "The Way". But after listening to their debut album, "All the Pain Money can Buy", I feel that Fastball won’t be a one-hit wonder.
Fastball’s sound seems to be pretty country-like, but just enough so that it sounds different. I found that many of the songs on the CD sounded very much the same, though, and it could get kind of tiring.
However, I did think the album was good overall. I’m sure that at least one more song from this CD will be a hit single like "The Way". Despite a few depressing lyrics, most of them were unique, not "mushy" at all, and completely free of clichés.
