"Go away," I muttered into my pillow.
Riiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggggg
"I said, go away," I repeated, covering my head with the pillow.
Riiiiiiiinnnnnnnngggggggg
Apparently, the phone wasn't very good at following directions.
Sighing, I reached over and picked the phone up. "Hello?" I mumbled.
"Get up, Kristy," Al's voice said. "We have to be at the airport in 1 1/2 hours."
"Fine," I muttered and slammed the phone down. I'm not exactly the kindest person in the world at 4:30 AM. Sighing, I regained my sleeping position and returned to my slumber.
Five minutes later, the phone rang again. "Damn you," I cursed at it. Yes, I talk to appliances. One of my many talents.
I picked it up again. "What do you want?" I asked.
"Kristy, 2 months on tour with you is enough to learn that you don't wake up on the first call. GET UP NOW. I mean it. You girls have a plane to catch," Albert said.
"Alright, alright," I grumbled. "I'll be ready in a half hour."
"Fine. When you're done come down to the hotel restaurant. We're all meeting for breakfast."
"Aight, bye."
I hung up and groaned as I climbed out of bed. Muttering not-so-nice things about early wake-up calls, I walked into the bathroom and splashed cold water on my face, wincing at the temperature as I did so. I got dressed and went down to the lobby. After walking into the restaurant, I quickly spotted everyone.
"Hey you guys," I said as I pulled up a chair next to Brian.
"Hey Kris," they said in unison, little expression on their faces.
I sighed. "Come on you guys! It's not the end of the world! We'll see each other again!" They simply glared at me. I sighed again. "Come on peoples! Be happy!" They continued to glare at me. "All right, I didn't want to have to resort to this, but you guys give me no choice." I took a deep breath and started to sing. "Happy, happy, joy joy-"
I was cut off by all 9 of them pelting me with bacon, eggs, pancakes, and waffles.
"Hey!" I shouted and immediately started throwing food back at them.
This resulted in a major, 10-person food fight. Which then resulted in us getting kicked out of the restaurant. Oh well. It was our last few hours together. We needed to have a little bit of fun.
After breakfast, or rather getting kicked out of breakfast, we headed back up to our rooms and packed up our stuff. An hour later, we were on our way to the airport.
The drive to the airport was silent. No one knew what to say; therefore, no one said anything. The guys came along to say goodbye to us, and for once, they were silent. We arrived at the airport, and after checking in our baggage, we were sitting at our gate, still remaining silent.
"First class for Flight 311 to New York is now boarding," a woman's voice announced.
"That's us," Alta said.
No one made any effort to move.
"Guys, let's just get this over with," Elissa said.
We agreed and we each exchanged hugs with each of the guys. Then there was the couple goodbyes. Those took a little longer.
I walked up to Brian and a tear slipped down my cheek as we embraced.
"I'm gonna miss you," I said as he held me.
"Shhh, baby, it's okay, don't cry," he whispered.
"Too late," I said, smiling through my tears.
Brian held me closer and started to sing softly.
I'd go anywhere for you
Anywhere you asked me to
I'd do anything for you
Anything you want me to
I'd walk halfway around the world
For just one kiss from you
Far beyond the call of love
The sun, the stars, the moon
As long as your love's there to lead me
I won't lose my way believe me
Even through the darkest nights you know
I'd go anywhere for you
Anywhere you asked me to
I'd do anything for you
Anything you want me to
Your love as far as I can see
Is all I'm ever gonna need
There's one thing for sure
I know it's true
Baby, I'd go anywhere for you
I used to think that dreams were just
For sentimental fools
And I'd never find someone
Who'd give their love so true
But I knew the very minute
Couldn't live my life without you in it
And now I want the whole wide world
To know
I'd go anywhere for you
Anywhere you asked me to
I'd do anything for you
Anything you want me to
Your love as far as I can see
Is all I'm ever gonna need
There's one thing for sure
I know it's true
Baby, I'd go anywhere for you
I smiled through my tears as I heard him sing the final note. I knew then that time could never tear us apart. We exchanged one last kiss and I cried one last tear as we broke our embrace. He wiped away the tear from my face and softly spoke.
"I love you, Kristy. Always."
"I love you too, Brian. Forever."
"Goodbye," he said.
"But just for now, right?" I asked, hope shining in my eyes.
He grinned. "Yep. Goodbye for now."
"Bye for now then," I replied.
I smiled at him one last time and slowly walked away, joining my saddened groupmates. The five of us walked through the gate together, leave our loves behind. But we knew it wouldn't matter. We would see them again. And, afterall, this was the end of our first tour - but it was only the beginning of our careers.
