Prologue

Brian was an angel. He had died 2 years ago in a car crash. He had been at peace for some time until a stress filled messenger came to him and asked him to help a young girl. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to leave his haven, but once he saw how in need the young girl really was he knew he had to help her. He also needed to earn his wings, to be truly at peace. A simple solution it was, so he took the job. Becoming human again was enough for any angel to agree. Brian hadn’t had the craving as the others did but he decided to go nonetheless. Her name was Jessica Sinclair. She was 18 and surrounded by dark energies. He would help her. He had to. What other choice did he have?
