"Oh great, and you?" Liz asked with that perky smile. Kevin just stood there, still shocked.
"So.....Liz, when did you get here and how did you know I was here?" Kevin asked.
"Well, I heard you were in town and I found out where you were staying, so I decided to come for a visit. Ya' know, catch up on old times. I hope you dont mind?" Liz said.
"No, not at all." Kev said, trying to force out a smile. Actually, he was lying. He did mind, but he didn't let Liz notice. This wasnt the time or place for Liz to come back into his life. After he dumped LIz because she was cheating on him, he never wanted to see her again.
"Well, I am awfully tired, I think I am gonna head up to the room. You guys coming?" Brian said, turning towards the rest of us. Shelly immediatly followed, she didnt want to stay and watch kevin and his ex-girlfriend get reaquainted. Nick, Howie, and AJ followed closely behind. I took Brian's hand, and headed to the elevator. We just left Kevin and Liz standing there.
"Soooo......."Kev was nervous, he had no idea what to say. I mean, what do u say? "Where are you staying?"
"Well, silly. Right here! duh." Liz said, wrapping her arms around him like a leech to a dead body. Kevin just pushed her away. He had to remind himself, he had a girlfriend. The two walked up to Kevin's room, it turned out Liz was staying in the room right across the hall. What a coincidence?
"So, Liz how are you?" Kevin asked, inside of Liz's room.
"Oh, I am great. I am working at that new cafe in New York, ya know Starbucks?" Kevin nodded. "And, I moved into a brand new house, last month." Liz smiled, hoping to impress Kevin. Kevin was no fool though, he knew this was why she came back. She wanted Kevin.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" Kevin asked.
"Actually............no." Liz said, smiling.
"Well, Liz, I'm going back to my room. I want to see how Shelly's doing, ya know my girlfriend?" Kevin said with a smirk.
"Ok, bye Kevin." Liz said, shutting the door behind him. Yes! He's back. I will have him wrapped around my little finger in no time! Liz thought to herself.
