~*~*~ After the Show - Back at the Hotel ~*~*~
"Shelly?" Kevin said to Shelly who was laying on the bed, almost asleep.
"Huh?" Shelly looked up to see Kevin's green eyes twinkling down on her.
Kevin looked at Shelly then finally said, "I'm in a big need to ask you something."
"Ask away." Shelly said sitting up and rubbing her eyes.
Kevin then touched the necklace that Shelly had given him, smiling at the feel of the gold that he knew said "Shelly." "Well..." Kevin finally began, "I was wondering..." He paused and sat next to Shelly, "If you'd maybe want to be my girlfriend?"
Shelly grinned, as a small tear dropped out of her eye, "Of course Kevin, I love you."
"Umm..." Kevin said standing up, "What did you want?" Kevin walked up to Shelly and wrapped his arms around her waist.
Shelly turned around slighty and tapped Kevin's nose with her forefinger. Kevin began to smile.
AJ walked in past Kevin and Shelly and sat down on the bed.
~*~*~ Brian and Sheilagh ~*~*~
As we got back to the hotel Brian and I didn't speak much, I guess I really didn't have anything to say, the whole deal with LeighAnne was stuck on my mind.
"Do you want to watch tv?" Brian asked interrupting my train of thought.
"Oh sure." I said not really caring what we did as long as I could continue thinking what I needed to be thinking about.
"Honey," Brian said walking over to me, "I want to thank you soo much for what you did today, I would have never gotten through that without you. I love you."
"No problem..." I answered, "It was nothing sweety."
We sat down on the bed together and watched TV.
~*~*~ Kevin, Shelly, & AJ ~*~*~
"So Shelly," AJ said walking in past her and Kevin, "What's up?"
"Nothing." Shelly answered. She hadn't been paying much attention to AJ, her and Kevin were in a very flirtatious mode.
"Let's watch TV!" Kevin suggested leading Shelly over to sit on the couch.
AJ followed to the couch and sat next to Shelly. Kevin sat on the other side of Shelly.
"Hey, I'm going to go change...I'll be right back." Kevin said kissing Shelly's lips softly and then walking into the bathroom.
"Hmmm..." AJ said examining Shelly, "finally a moment alone with you." He put his hand on Shelly's thigh.
"What are you doing?!?" Shelly asked getting nervous, "I don't like you, I love Kevin! Stop!"
"Shhh..." AJ said putting his finger to Shelly's lip. "This is all I am doing!" he said leaning in to kiss Shelly. Shelly pushed him away as he tried to kiss her.
"AJ! GET OFF OF HER NOW!" Kevin yelled as he walked out of the bathroom.
"Chill out," AJ said not moving much, "I was just trying to get to know her."
"GET OUT NOW! I HATE YOU!" Kevin yelled at AJ, getting more angry.
"YOU NEED TO SHUT UP!" AJ yelled back at Kevin, "I WASN'T DOING ANYTHING!"
"Guys!" Shelly spoke up, "Both of you sit down and talk this one out...or I'm leaving." They could tell she was being very serious by her tone of voice. Kevin and AJ both walked over to the table and sat down.
Kevin looked at Shelly and then said, "Well, maybe, but it's not acceptable when she's going out with one of your best friends."
"I'm really sorry Kev..." AJ said, "And Shelly, I'm really sorry too, I was a real jerk, and I'm sorry if I hurt you."
"It's okay AJ. I forgive you." Shelly said in a polite manner.
"Okay..." AJ said, "I will leave now. You two need to be alone." AJ got up from the table and left.
As soon as AJ left Shelly jumped into Kevin's arms. Kevin hugged and kissed Shelly for the next 10 minutes.
