LeighAnne looked at her date then at me, "Oh whatever." She said with an attitude turning to kiss her date.
I couldn't believe her, I just wanted to smack her. I ran out the door, and almost ran right into Brian. "Brian?" I said softly, "Why are you sitting on the curb?"
He looked up at me, his face all tear-stained and said, "I can't do this anymore, I just can't."
I sat next to him and looked into his baby blue eyes, which were clouded from crying. "Honey, everything will be okay. I promise, you're a fighter, you'll make it out of all this with a smile."
He looked up at me right as I said I promise. He then forced a small smile, wiped the tears away and hugged me. "Thank you so much, I'm going to get through this."
"And I'll be there every step of the way to help you." I smiled then said, "Maybe we should get going, just get away from all of this?" I then stood up.
"Sounds good." He looked around then stood up, "I'm going to walk away and not turn back. Do you want to go back to the hotel and meet the guys?"
"Sure, I'd love to. Once we get there can I use your phone though?" I smiled at the thought of meeting the guys.
"Of course!" Brian picked up his cell phone, called someone, and within five minutes there was a limo there for us.
We both got into the limo, and rode to the hotel in silence occasionally looking at each other and smiling.
"Woo hoo! We're here!" Brian said jumping out of the limo.
I smiled and said "You really as crazy as they say you are!"
We walked to the guys room, and Brian introduced me to everyone. They all seemed just as sweet as they always had.
Brian walked up to me with his cell phone and said, "You needed to use this?"
"Oh my gosh! Thanks!" I said. I dialed Shelly's number quickly and heard the ring.
After two rings Shelly picked up, "Hey hey!"
"Shelly?" I said, "It's Sheilagh! What are you doing?"
She laughed and said "Just chilling...you?"
"Hmmm..." I replied "I'm just sitting here with the Backstreet Boys!"
"OH MY GOD!!!!!!!" Shelly yelled into the phone, "IS KEVIN THERE?"
I laughed and said "Matter of factly Kevin is right here!"
Shelly was in shock and she finally got out "Oh my god... I hate you...just playing...oh my god!"
"Hold up!" I said laughing at her, I put the phone down "Brian what do you want to do tonight?"
Brian looked around "Umm...guys?"
Kevin looked up and said "I wanna go out to a club!"
Brian then waited for the other guys but they didn't say anything. He looked back to me and said, "I just wanna hang out here!"
I looked at Kevin and said "That's perfect. What time are you leaving here?"
Kevin looked at his watch and said "Well, if I go to dinner probably 7:30!"
"Would you like a date?" I asked him still covering the phone so Shelly couldn't hear.
"Sure, who?" He said looking interested.
"Shelly...my friend! You can pick her up right?" I pulled the phone back to my ear.
"Yea!" He said smiling.
"Shelly you and Kevin are going out tonight, to dinner then to a club!"
"Oh my god!" Shelly said "THANKS! I love you! What time?"
"You're nuts girl!" I said with a chuckle, "Be ready at 7:30!"
"I will be!" Shelly said!
"See ya!"
"Later!"
We hung up and I handed the phone back to Brian, "Thanks!"
"Anytime!" he said with a smile.
Kevin then got up and left to get ready.
