"Alright, I am gonna go. Cya guys later, wish me luck." Kevin quickly checked himself in the mirror to make sure he looked perfect. Brian just laughed. I sat there flipping through the channels on the tv, looking for something good to watch. Nick had gone down to the arcade and AJ and Howie were out at a club. I heard the door shut, from Kevin. Finally, I thought, a moment alone with Brian. Maybe we can talk about Leighanne.
"Brian, are you hungry?" I asked.
"Yeah sure, why dont u get a pizza delievered up here." He said as i got up to use the phone. While we waited for the pizza me and Brian just watched tv.
Meanwhile....
"What should i wear?" Shelly said, rummaging through her closet. " How about this green one? No, that would make me look slutty. How about this blue one? NO, I would look to obsessive," (blue being kevs fav color). Shelly just couldnt decide on the perfect dress.
"Here, this one looks good." Shelly slipped on a black spagetti strap dress, that came just above her knees. She quickly ran into her bathroom, staring at the clock. "CRAP! It's 7:25, Kevins gonna be here soon" She applied her make-up, as fast as she could, with out smudging it, and threw her hair into a french braid. Just then the doorbell rang. It was 7:30 on the dot.
"DING-DONG, DING-DONG!" The doorbell sounded as Shelly raced down the steps, she was no where finished getting ready. She decided to just open the door anyways. "Hi Kevin." Shelly stared in awe, wow! She never thought he would be that gorgeous in all the years she fantisized about him. He stood there in khaki pants with a tommy button down shirt. He smelled incredible, she guessed it was POLO SPORT.
"Man, Sheilagh!" Kevin said out loud.
"Whats wrong?" Shelly asked, staring into his big green eyes.
"Sheilagh, always, forgot to tell me how beautiful you are." Kevin said with that famous smile. Shelly took a few steps back as he walked in, and she shut the door behind him.
"I am not quite finished yet, can you wait about 5 mins?" Shelly asked, a little embarassed.
"Sure, no prob. I'll just sit down here on the couch." Kevin said, making himself confortable.
GOD!! I bet he thinks i look like crap, I mean hes a god compared to me. I wonder if he likes this dress or not. Maybe i should change it? No, NO time! Shelly thought to herself. She quickly ran up stairs to throw on a pair of heels and grab her purse.
"Ok, Kevin I am ready" She came down the steps. Kevin just stood with his eyes wide open.
"YOU LOOK WONDERFUL."
