"Well, well. Look who’s back." Kevin smiled at his cousin. "Are you okay buddy?"
"Yeah, Kev. I am fine, thanks." He smiled back.
"Here, this is for you two." Kevin handed them the bag of food.
"MMMM......Chinese." I said, sniffing the bag.
"We'll eat it later, we're not really hungry." Brian said, taking it out of my hand and placing it on the table.
"Oh, we're not?" I said laughing.
"No, I had something else in mind. Do you guys wanna go for a walk on the beach? I think I need to clear my mind." He said looking at me.
"Sounds good to us. We'll just go get our things out of our room, be right back." Kevin said, taking Shelly's hand. We didn't really have to worry about the rest of the guys. Nick was downstairs in the arcade, and AJ and Howie were still at the club. I jumped up and threw on my shoes, while Brian grabbed his jacket. He took my hand, and we walked out the door. When we got down to the beach we saw Kevin and Shelly were already there. I turned to Brian.
"Don't they look so cute together?" He laughed. We watched Kevin pick Shelly up over his shoulder and fling her around. He then put her on his back, and pretended to be a horse. It was the cutest thing.
"Brian?" I looked at him. "Are you sure you're ok?" He knew I was talking about LeighAnne, because his face was overcome with a sad look. "Oh, I am sorry. If you don’t want to talk about it, its fine." I started to walk towards the water.
"No, Sheilagh. wait." He ran after me, taking my hand. "It's fine if we talk about it, I am sorry. Again, your only trying to help. Actually, to tell ya the truth, I am not perfectly ok. But I think time will heal my broken heart." He looked down at me. I gave him a hug, I was happy to know what he was feeling. But it killed me to know he was hurting.
"Kevin, Put me down!" Shelly said laughing.
"Ok, I will." Kevin laughed, dropping her in the water.
"KEVIN SCOTT RICHARDSON! YOU'RE GONNA PAY FOR THAT!" Shelly said, running out of the water towards Kevin. When she reached him, they both fell on the ground laughing
