"Come on Jes. Please, I’m sorry, I wasn’t serious about Amanda. You mean the world to me. I don’t want you to go."
"AJ, do you think it was easy for me to make that decision to leave?"
"No, but you did it. You and I both know it’s going to hurt us both in the long run. Last time we were separated because of something that neither of us could control. This would be deliberate and hurt much worse."
"I don’t want to admit it but I know you’re right."
"Whoa, I wasn’t expecting you to say that. So do you forgive me?"
"Yeah. The pain would be unbearable whether I want to admit it or not." AJ wrapped his arms around me. I loved the feeling of being in his arms and I returned the embrace.
"Come on. Let’s get on the bus, it broke down. We weren’t supposed to stop."
"All right. Can I use your cell?"
"Sure. Who ya gonna call? Your other boyfriend?"
"Definitely! You know Justin comes in handy at times!"
"Girl, you are definitely too much!"
"Well, you know me!"
"Of course," he said planting a kiss on her cheek.
They entered the bus and Jesykah replied, "Bri, I think you can throw that paper away."
"Taken care of," he said, without looking up from the magazine he was reading.
