"We're as ready as well ever be," they replied.
"Hey they just pulled up," AJ said looking out of the window.
"Well here goes nothing," Brian said as he went to open the door. They exchanged hello's and all went and sat down.
"So Bri, what is the announcement?" Sheri asked.
"Well you'll see, but now we want to do something special for you guys."
And the guys started to sing 'I'll Never Break Your Heart'. When they were singing the chorus for the last time Brian went and stood infront of Karla, Howie infront of Sheri, and Kevin infront of Lisa. On the last word, they knelt down, then all together they pulled out little boxes and sang, "Will you marry me?"
"Yes," they all screamed.
"And Jaime will you go out with me?" Nick asked.
"Yes," she squeaked.
"And guys I would like you to meet my new girlfriend," AJ said as a small brunette walked in. "This is Stacy."
"Hello," she said.
"Hi."
"Hey I have an idea, lets stay up all night and celebrate," Karla suggested.
"Sounds great," Sheri said.
"Hey is everyone hungry?" Brian asked. They all nodded. "How does chinese food sound?"
"Good," they replied.
"Well what does anyone want? We'll call in ahead so they can have it ready, then I'll go get it."
About a half hour later, Brian and Karla were gone getting the food, the rest of the guys were playing team pool and the girls were trying to get to know Stacy better.
"So Stacy, what do you do for a living?" Jaime asked.
"Well I'm a model, but I'm also taking acting classes," she replied.
"Wow, it sounds like you have a full day."
"Yep. It can get tiring, but I'm also doing what I've always wanted too, so its really not that back, I guess."
"We know how you feel."
"We sure do," Lisa replied.
"Would you please excuse me, I'm going to go see what AJ is doing since it sounds like they quit the pool game," she said as she got up.
"Wait and I'll go with you. I wanna see what Kevin is up to," Lisa said following. They walked into the game room to find all the guys talking. "Hey girls," AJ said when he noticed them standing in the doorway. "Hey," they replied.
"Lisa, I was coming out there to see if you would like to go for a walk because I really need to talk to you about," Kevin said walking over to his fiancee and kiss her.
"Sure," she replied as they headed outside. "So," she said when they were outside, "what do you need to talk to me about?"
"Well there is no easy way to say this so I'll just say it. Don't take it the wrong way, but I was hoping since we're engaged now, that you would take off Jacob's ring and locket," he said quietly.
She stopped and looked at him. "Honey, if I knew it was upsetting you for me to wear these, then I would of took them off along time ago. But Kev, I can't just throw them away. I promise I won't wear them, but I can't get rid of them. Here look I'll put them in my pocket until I get home. Then I'll put them in his box and if it helps I'll put the box on the top shelf of my closet. Ok?" she asked quietly.
He looked at her with hurtful eyes, "You still love him, don't you?" She was quiet. "I know it sounds weird but it seems like you love him more than me." A tear slipped silently down his cheek. She brushed it away.
"Yes, I love him, but I'm also in love with you Kevin. Jacob will always have a place in my heart, but you have my whole heart and soul. Jacob is in my past, I realize that now. But I want you in my future. And my future is tied to yours."
"I love you," he whispered in her ear as he held her in his arms.
"I love you too and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lifes together," she whispered.
